Here are some guidelines: 1. **Keep Your Skin Hydrated:** Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins and keep your skin hydrated. Use a hydrating moisturizer as recommended by our facialist. 2. **Avoid Heavy Makeup:** Give your skin a break from heavy makeup for at least 24 hours post-facial. If makeup is necessary, use light, non-comedogenic products. 3. **Protect Your Skin from the Sun:** Your skin may be more sensitive following a facial. Apply SPF 30 or higher sunscreen before going outdoors to protect it from harmful UV rays. 4. **Skip Harsh Treatments:** Avoid exfoliating your skin, using retinoids, or other harsh skincare treatments for a few days as your skin heals and absorbs the benefits of the facial. 5. **Stay Away from Heat:** Refrain from using saunas, steam rooms, or engaging in strenuous exercise that causes excessive sweating for at least 24-48 hours. 6. **Use Gentle Cleanser:** Follow your facialist's recommendation for a gentle cleanser and skincare routine suited to your skin type and the facial treatment you received. 7. **Monitor Your Skin’s Reaction:** Pay attention to how your skin feels.
